Wedding Recovery Post

Posted in Updates tagged , , , , , at 8:51 am by maf

The Wedding went off without a glitch.

Other big events: Jessica’s wedding was the same day. Also, Angie’s baby came!

Leo Quinn Pendley made his big arrival on Thursday, June 26th at 1:33pm. He weighed 8lbs 13oz and is 22 1/2 inches long. Yes, a mighty Quinn indeed! We came home this afternoon and everyone is doing great! I’ll send pictures along soon! –Angie F.

Today I’m removing glitter from my hair, and trying to find the bottom of my inbox and the top of my desk.

I managed to catch up within 7 days of grading.

I’ve made no progress on the Mortimer “quiz” despite my best intentions. That task has a high priority through Wednesday.

Christina provided these titles of the three books she used in her Last Word on 6/14:

The Shelf Elf and The Shelf Elf Helps Out by Jackie Mims Hopkins
Our Librarian Won’t Tell Us Anything! by Toni Buzzeo

I’m adding these to the agenda record of that day as well.

Finally for today – a couple of fall announcements.

  • For those of you taking EDIT 6900: I’ve renewed by decision to use the Farmer text again this year. Go to the hibernating webpage for that course to get the particulars.
  • Most of you will take EDIT 6400. Make sure to sign up for the section under Dr. Clinton. (Dr. Choi is wonderful, but the Clinton section is planned for you.)
